DALLAS June 11, 2016 – Cole Haan Dallas hosted a grand opening cocktail party on June 9 benefiting Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. The chic new location in Nordstrom Court on Level One, was alive with special guests shopping the brand’s modern classic oxfords, loafers and sandals, which flew off the shelves. One of the chairs of the Trains at NorthPark, Sara Friedman, was in attendance with Advisory Board Member Norma Pearson and her husband Robert. Lauren Romo from Cole Haan New York shopped with chief development officer Diane Fullingim.

The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas provides a home-away-from-home for 1,800 families each year while their children are receiving treatment for illnesses or injuries at Dallas hospitals. The House serves a critical need for families who stay there, all of whom come from distances greater than 40 miles away from Dallas. Although RMHD asks guest families to contribute only $15 per night, no family is ever turned away for an inability to pay.

May 13, 2024: Folds of Honor North Texas Classic: Join us for the 2024 North Texas Classic hosted by the Folds of Honor Dallas Board of Directors. This outing will be an afternoon of fun activities, including 18 holes of golf, dinner, live music, auction, and guest speakers. Your support of this special event will allow us to fund educational scholarships for the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service members and first responders, including many in North Texas.

May 23, 2024: An Evening With! Dr. Jody Edward Ginn. The 90th Anniversary of the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush. Dr. Jody Edward Ginn will explore the careers of the notorious outlaw couple, emphasizing the impact of their crimes on the victims and families affected by their crime spree. Dr. Jody Edward Ginnis is a former law enforcement investigator/administrator and U.S. Army veteran who has worked for over two decades as a public historian. He is the author of Palmito Ranch: From Civil War Battlefield to National Historic Landmark and East Texas Troubles: The Allred Rangers’ Cleanup of San Augustine.
