Dallas Summer Musicals Guild’s PIPPIN Cast and Company Party at the Tower Club in Downtown Dallas
Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) Guild hosted the cast and crew of PIPPIN at a party at the Tower Club in downtown Dallas after the show last summer.
After a sumptuous buffet, Michael A. Jenkins, President and Managing Director, DSM, welcomed the crowd and praised the company on a thoroughly entertaining show, then thanked the Tower Club for hosting this fun event. Steve Beene, Guild president, applauded the show and thanked party hosts Lynne and Bob Thompson, Tim Colley and Rick Starkweather.
A special treat from the Guild is always a take-away duffel bag filled with over 55 treats, magazines and special surprises to make the cast and crew feel welcome in Dallas, coordinated by Guild member Dennis Cabe.
The DSM Guild events are sponsored in part by Dallas Summer Musicals and the DSM Guild’s major supporters. The cast and company events are an opportunity to meet the cast members and get to know them one on one. Then on the Saturday and Sunday during the shows run, the Guild serves a luncheon buffet to all of the cast and company of each show, if it is a two-show day. These events are a tradition of DSM and members of the Guild and would not be possible without our many sponsors and friends.
The Dallas Summer Musicals Guild is a group of people who share a love of musical theater, show their appreciation to the traveling casts and crews and enthusiastically support the Dallas Summer Musicals! Benefits include exclusive cast parties, weekend cast buffets and exciting social opportunities! For Guild membership information, visit the website at http://www.dsmguild.org.

Since 2010 the experts at DSM have made significant changes and upgrades to its acoustical systems to improve the sound quality of the productions for all its patrons, including the hearing impaired. It is so unique that a trademark has been allowed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Coming this fall, Seats for Vets will serve war veterans and their families by providing them with a unique theatrical experience and thanking them for their service. Ticket sales alone do not sustain these endeavors. Only support from committed businesses, foundations and individuals make these programs possible.
Dallas Summer Musicals is presented by Texas Instruments and gratefully acknowledges the support of our season sponsors and partners The Dallas Morning News, WFAA TV Channel 8, American Airlines, and The Original Cupcakery.
