Dallas Black Dance Theatre Honoree Reception for 20th Annual Founder’s Luncheon

Dallas, TX – The Dallas Black Dance Theatre (DBDT) announced its 2016 Founder’s Luncheon honorees at a reception held at the home of Joleen and Jim Chambers on December 8, 2015. Dallas Black Dance Theatre founder Ann Williams and DBDT Board President Georgia Scaife thanked the 2016 honorees Don and Norma Stone and Mark Cooks as exceptional arts champions.

The 20th Annual Founder’s Luncheon pays tribute to DBDT founder Ann Williams and the success of the 39-year-old dance company.The Honorary Chairperson for the event is Dallas Independent School District Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa, Ed. D. The Founder’s Luncheon Co-Chairs are longtime committee members Herdercine Nash and Kellie L. Crewse. JP Morgan Chase & Co. is the presenting sponsor.

The luncheon will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at noon in the Hilton Anatole Hotel, located at 2201 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207. The Founder’s luncheon is the major community fundraiser for Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Event proceeds benefit DBDT’s community outreach and education programs in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
