From flying feathered feats in the plaza, to floating food and airplane simulators, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science has wholeheartedly embraced its Elevate theme for this year’s annual fundraising soiree Night at the Museum. Guests will soar through the night experiencing over-the-top “play-and-party” activities on all five levels of the Museum, delectable cuisine from Wolfgang Puck Catering and much more.

Inspiring this year’s Elevate theme, the stunningly beautiful exhibition, Birds of Paradise, takes guests through an exotic simulated Papua New Guinea rainforest to witness the spectacular plumage and psychedelic courtship dances of the rare and spectacular birds-of-paradise.

The evening launches with an invitation-only VIP pre-party for major donors/sponsors at 6 p.m., followed by the main party at 7 p.m. and after-party from 9 p.m. to midnight. Dress is cocktail attire, and valet parking is offered.

Event co-chairs are Francie Moody-Dahlberg and Kevin Dahlberg and Carmen and Thomas Surgent, and the honorary co-chairs are Carolyn and Karl Rathjen. Proceeds from the annual Night at the Museum gala will support the Museum’s mission to inspire minds through nature and science, from on-site and outreach programs for pre-K through 12th graders, to financial assistance that allows students to visit the Museum, regardless of their school’s ability to pay. Underwriting contributions also fund research and collections efforts and help secure top-quality traveling exhibitions.

Ticket packages begin at $2,500 (six guests). Individual tickets are not available.
