Rock the night away! Jaw-dropping prehistoric giants, glamorous geodes and Earth’s breathtaking natural creations will rock the senses at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science’s annual fundraising gala – Night at the Museum: Rock the Perot – on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 7 p.m.-midnight. Boasting a slew of play-and-party activities, 1,000+ party patrons will experience science at its most spectacular with curiously cool cuisine and sparkly surprises abound.

Experiences and fun takeaways will incorporate the “Rock the Perot” theme on all five levels of the Museum and include music therapy, fiber-optic hair, rock star impersonators, crystal tattoos and more, plus live music by Georgia Bridgwater during the after party.

On the Lower Level, head to the “backstage” party for a rock star experience and music evolution.

On Level 2 “rock your body” in the all-new Being Human Hall, and explore the mysteries and science behind nature’s gems and minerals on Level 3.

On Level 4 “rock your world” among prehistoric rock stars, then stay late for an iridescent after-party on Level 1. Wolfgang Puck will present a spread of delectable dishes and drinks including glowing cocktails and edible crystals and minerals, plus guests can “see” the sound waves of musical rhythms moving through food and enjoy a selection of “rock star” wines.

The evening launches with an invitation-only VIP experience – for those at the Geode level and above – at 6 p.m., followed by the main party at 7 p.m. and after-party from 9 p.m. to midnight. Dress is cocktail attire, and valet parking is provided.

Event co-chairs are Heather and Chris Gilker and Linda and Ken Wimberly and honorary chairs are Fallon and Robie Vaughn.

Proceeds from the annual Night at the Museum gala support the Museum’s mission to inspire minds through nature and science, from on-site and outreach programs for pre-K through 12th graders, to financial assistance that allows students to visit the Museum, regardless of their school’s ability to pay. Underwriting contributions also fund research and collections efforts and help secure world-class traveling exhibitions.

Ticket packages begin at $3,000 (six guests). Individual tickets are not available. For more information, email NightAtTheMuseum@perotmuseum.org or call 214.756.5805.
