Ida Claire South of Ordinary 

It’s time to eat, drink and be scary. Ida Claire is hosting its Mask’querade Halloween Soiree on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight! Join the ghosts and ghouls under the full moon, and safely enjoy $5 drinks and a live DJ on the patio all night. Hoping to see a brighter future in 2021? airstream-turned-witch’s den for tarot card readings and a peek inside the crystal ball. The evening will also feature a costume contest with prizes for first, second and third place overall. Admission is free, but space is limited. To make your reservation, please call Ida Claire at 214-377-8227. Additionally, a three-course pairing dinner experience with themed cocktails will also be available for $50 per person. The Rustic 

Get ready for some good times and spooky vibes because The Rustic is inviting guests to celebrate the holiday all weekend long. The Rustic’s Halloween weekend will be filled with DJs, live music and its Jam & Toast Brunch. Here’s the lineup for the weekend:

  • Friday – Christian Carlos Carvajal at 6 p.m. and Max Flinn from 9:30-11 p.m.
  • Saturday –Jam & Toast Brunch, Mitchell Ferguson at 12:30 p.m., Adrian Lyles at 4 p.m. and Hip Hop Halloween/DJ Bradford at 9:30 p.m. – Free with RSVP.
  • Sunday – Jam & Toast Brunch, Topanga at 12:30 p.m. and Mo Robson at 4 p.m.

Vestals Catering

Vestals Catering is offering a special Halloween Party Kit so people can host their spooky soiree with ease! Enjoy a variety of festive sweet and savory bites, including: Finger Flautas, Pumpkin-Shaped Cheese Balls, Monster Brisket Sliders, Witch Hat S’mores and Candy Corn Vanilla Cake Bites. This party pack is $250, serves 10-12 guests and is available for pickup or delivery from Oct. 22-31. Customers can also add on the Monster Mash Cocktail for $40.

Original ChopShop

Original ChopShop is hosting its third annual OCS Pumpkin Hunt on Halloween. On Oct. 31, each Shop will hide two pumpkins, both containing a $15, $25, $50 or $100 in app credit. Clues will be released on Original ChopShop’s Facebook and Instagram stories at 10 a.m. CST and guests will be able to hunt down the pumpkins for a chance to win big. This year, guests will be asked to direct message Original ChopShop on Instagram or Facebook with a selfie showing their pumpkin number. Original ChopShop will add the surprise value to the guests’ app accounts. 

On The Border

To celebrate Halloween, On The Border will bring back a spooky special for the entire month of October! Guests can sip on On The Border’s $5 Hallow’rita – signature House Margarita made with a hint of mango and candy corn and garnished with a spider ring – for dine-in only. *This year, the candy corn will come in a clear individual packet for guests to open and enjoy! Bowl & Barrel

Head to Bowl & Barrel on Halloween from 8 p.m. to close for a scary good time! The boutique bowling alley will host an adults-only costume contest.
