Al Biernat’s North Celebrates Fifth Anniversary
The renowned Dallas steakhouse celebrates by donating to Operation Underground Railroad
Cheers to five years! Beloved Dallas steakhouse, Al Biernat’s is the place many go to celebrate their special occasions. Al’s now has a celebration of their own, the fifth anniversary of their North location! Al Biernat’s North has established itself as one of the Best of Dallas along with the original Oak Lawn location, winning several local, state, and international honors over the past five years.
When discussing how to honor and commemorate five successful years of Al Biernat’s North, the Al’s team knew they wanted to take this opportunity to give back to an organization who is doing important work and making a difference.
So, to celebrate this noteworthy milestone, the restaurant will be giving back a percentage of their proceeds during the month of October to the organization Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.).
O.U.R. exists to rescue children from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. They offer freedom and healing to survivors of human trafficking and exploitation through direct intervention and aftercare. O.U.R.’s mission is to shine a light worldwide on the global issue of child sex trafficking and exploitation, and in so doing rescue more children from slavery and assist law enforcement to seek justice for those who violate children. They place survivors on a path to recovery by partnering with vetted aftercare providers. Many of the O.U.R. volunteers who serve on these rescue missions are retired Navy SEALs and veterans, continuing to fight for the freedom of others.
“After attending one of O.U.R.’s first Dallas events and hearing some of the moving stories from the founders and veterans involved, we knew this would be a great organization to partner with to honor of North’s anniversary,” Director of Operations, Brad Fuller said. “We are thankful to the North Dallas community for their support in expanding Al Biernat’s five years ago and wanted to give back to show our gratitude.”
