Wrangler Opens New Store in Dallas

My husband I recently attended a new store opening for Wrangler(R), the iconic American leader in denim, in the Dallas Galleria. It was a very festive occasion.

A Nashville duo called McKenzies Mill played lively country music while local fashionistas lined up to ogle and try on some of the contemporary fashions on display. Some charming new tops, dresses and pants were showcased along with the more traditional jeans, Western shirts, belts and jackets.

This is the first Wrangler store in the state of Texas, and Craig Errington, VP of marketing, says, “We look forward to providing a wide variety of relevant styles under one roof, to shoppers familiar with the Wrangler brand as well as those who haven’t shopped our brand in awhile.”

A few weeks later, we were curious about how the new Galleria store was doing, especially since the weather was rainy and windy for the opening.

Errington said, “We’re so pleased with the reception we’ve received from the local community. From the grand opening weekend Oct. 30-31 through the beginning of the holiday shopping season, we’ve had a steady stream of shoppers interested in what the Wrangler store has to offer–from the western styles the brand is known for to the original pieces only found in the Wrangler store.”

He said the top sellers so far have been men’s novelty screen tees, men’s retro and cowboy jeans, women’s skinny jeans, and women’s sweaters.

Errington said, “Texas is our number one state when it comes to brand awareness and sales, so as we evaluate additional opportunities, Texas will certainly be a state we consider strongly for additional Wrangler stores.”

A second Wrangler store will open in the Park Meadows Mall in Denver, Colorado the end of November.

Errington said, “Wrangler has been providing authentic, quality western wear since 1947. The Dallas store is the brand’s first store that incorporates long-loved styles the brand is known for as well as original pieces that appeal to the contemporary shopper.”

The Galleria Dallas store and the Denver store both feature “diverse product offering not previously found under one roof. We offer jeans, shirts, jackets, dresses and accessories relevant to shoppers who have a familiarity with the Wrangler brand, as well as those who likely haven’t shopped it regularly in the past. With apparel designed for men and women who seek comfort and quality, Wrangler offers styles that are timeless, classic and on-trend,” Errington added.

The 2,028 square foot Wrangler store on the second floor of the Dallas Galleria is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

Even if you don’t think you’re a fan of Western wear, this Wrangler Store will surprise you with its delightful new fashions. It did me, as I’m now the proud owner of a colorful jeans dress and a pair of fancy jeans.
