The Junior League Of Dallas Held Its Annual Patron Platinum Dinner To Recognize Sponsors At JLD Headquarters

The Junior League of Dallas (JLD), along with dinner sponsor Dallas Southwest Osteopathic Physicians, held its annual Patron Platinum Dinner to recognize top donors at the newly renovated headquarters building on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. The evening began with a cocktail reception where guests mingled and enjoyed beverages and light bites. Guests were then welcomed into the Lyda Hill Auditorium for a seated dinner. 

Sponsors and JLD members celebrated the 2021-2022 year while listening to details for the eagerly anticipated Centennial Week celebration. Junior League of Dallas President Christa Sanford welcomed guests and thanked donors for their generous support of the JLD and its Centennial. Centennial Co-Chair Margo Goodwin shared little bit of League history, marveled about JLD’s impact on the community and shared details for the upcoming Centennial celebration. Centennial Milestones Luncheon Co-Chair Lydia Novakov then took the stage and got the audience excited about Milestones Luncheon featured speaker Martha Stewart.

The dinner, catered by Art2Catering, included a fresh romaine hearts and street corn salad with avocado chipotle vinaigrette with honey-cumin Texas pecans; grilled beef tenderloin and pan-seared salmon, haricot verts, Yukon Gold potato and turnip puree with port wine reduction; hazelnut chocolate torte with caramelized hazelnuts and flourless chocolate sponge cake.
