Join the Party at Eataly Dallas to Celebrate Italian Carnevale
The Italian marketplace hosts its first-ever Carnevale celebration in partnership with the Dallas Bach Society and New York Baroque Dance Company.
You know Brazilian Carnival and New Orleans Mardi Gras events, and Eataly Dallas is bringing the celebration to Dallas and hosting their first true Italian Carnevale on Tuesday, February 21 that will includeanall-inclusive night of Venetian masks, drinks, and bites!
At Eataly Dallas’s first-ever Carnevale, this storewide celebration of Martedi Grasso (Fat Tuesday – the day before the fasting period of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday) will be a lively party featuring dozens of food stations with traditional Carnevale dishes, multiple cocktail bars, and endless Italian wines. Indulge in Italian fried foods only made during this time of year, like Castagnole (cream-filled fritters), zeppole (crescent-shaped fried dough), chiacchiere (thin, crispy fried dough ribbons), and classic Eataly fares like fresh pasta, house-made focaccia, fresh mozzarella, endless desserts, grilled meats, and more. You can’t go wrong — so we suggest you try them all! Sparkling, white, and red Italian wines will be flowing, as well as local beers and cocktails.
In partnership with the Dallas Bach Society, Carnevale is bringing traditional Venetian Carnevale to Dallas for one night! The live entertainment includes musicians, actors, and performers. The Dallas Bach Society has historically been the Southwest’s primary resource for Baroque music on original instruments. They play all the great music from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, both masterpieces familiar to music lovers and those awaiting their discovery. The Dallas Bach Society, along with the New York Baroque Dance Company, will be providing traditional Carnevale entertainment, complete with Renaissance costumes and authentic instruments.
Be sure not to miss the Costume contest! Show off your best outfit or traditional Venetian costume and mask! There will be a costume walk on stage, and by popular vote, the winner will receive a $1,000 Eataly gift card!
Starting at $95 per person, tickets include unlimited food, drinks, and entertainment for the entire evening starting at 7 pm. VIP Tickets are $125 each and include all the above, as well as early access to the event starting at 6 pm with premium drinks and bites.
