On Saturday, December 16, local small businesses Kat + Noelle, Nikki Smith Designs, PaperAffair, Scarlet Reagan, and TASC, located in the Pavilion on Lovers Lane, hosted a Holiday Shop & Stroll benefitting Community Partners of Dallas. Shoppers received 20% off purchases with the donation of coats, hats, gloves, and adult, toddlers, and infant-sized socks to Community Partners of Dallas’ Rainbow room. Thanks to the generosity of those who turned out to shop, the event was a tremendous success, with several boxes of items donated to benefit abused and neglected children in Dallas County.
A festive holiday sign, provided by Yard Pop Dallas, welcomed shoppers as they pulled into the shopping center, along with decorative candy-cane inspired balloon decor from Float Balloon Bar adding to the holiday flair. As shoppers strolled between stores, they were treated to delicious coffee drinks and hot chocolate from the Herb’s House coffee truck, known as The Herbster.
Since 1989, Community Partners of Dallas has ensured safety and restored dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing crucial resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services. Community Partners of Dallas provides items such as winter coats, diapers and formula, holiday gifts, school uniforms, personal hygiene products, food and more, to send the abused children in our community the message that some does care.
