Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $ 26 million in grants to law- related programs.

Supported by members of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the nation’ s largest charitably funded bar foundation. This grant will help Simply Grace transform the lives of women in recovery from addiction and their children in the Simply Grace mommy and me house.

Simply Grace received a grant from Texas Bar Foundation in the amount of $ 10,000 . This grant will fund leadership training for House Managers at our five transitional living facilities and four key staff, including training on how to guide clients to legal assistance. Simply Grace is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide a safe, structured environment to assist women recovering from substance use disorder, help to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term recovery. Simply Grace has five women’s sober living homes, an Intensive Outpatient Program, and a Thrift Store.

“Thanks to the Texas Bar Foundation, this grant will help cover the cost of a leadership training retreat for the women of Simply Grace. This will also help our house managers with necessary resources and education paired with individualized support to help connect the right resources for legal needs and concerns,” said Jennifer Da Silva, executive director.

Simply Grace has the potential to help women in recovery learn how to advocate for themselves and have the proper resources in place to overcome their legal struggles. Learn more about Simply Grace at www.simplygracehouse.com.
