Saturday, February 22, 2025: The 2025 Reed and Stanley Graff Texas History Symposium Features Two Dynamic Speakers: Ernesto Rodriguez III, Senior Historian at the Alamo and Sherri Driscoll, who from 2010 to 2024 served as the Director of Education for the Alamo, designing and coordinating programming for students, contributing to their understanding of Texas History.

Friday, April 4, 2025: AWARE Affair 2025: Boots, Buckles & Brain Health | Celebrating 35 Years Fighting Alzheimer’s, Supporting Care Partners. David McDavid Jr. is chair. Bo and Jeff Parker are honorary chairs. Venise Stuart will receive the Founder’s Spirit Award. Karisti Julia will receive the Amy Osler Spirit of Education Leadership Award. AWARE returns to Gilley’s for a boots, buckles and brain health evening with supporters coming together for a night fighting Alzheimer’s and supporting care partners. Guests will enjoy a delicious seated buffet dinner, dancing to The Breckenridge Band, lots of fun brain health activities, silent and live auction, and a meaningful evening with friends and family while raising money for AWARE.
Thursday, April 17, 2025: Commemorating the 37th Annual Mad Hatter’s Luncheon Celebrating Spring in the South benefiting A Woman’s Garden and the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The morning will begin with a Welcome Reception, a stroll in the gardens and a Silent Auction while our discerning hat judges take note of the interpretations of this year’s theme. The beloved fashion show, presented by NorthPark Center and produced by Jan Strimple, will begin around noon. Hat Contest winners will be announced. This year, a Teacup Trophy will be awarded to the floral studio who donates the guests’ favorite floral arrangement to the Silent Auction.
