April Bosworth Named the Annual Broadway League Volunteer of the Year

April Bosworth of Dallas has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Broadway League and was presented a Star of Touring Broadway Award. These awards were created to honor board members, government officials, donors and volunteers who have given support to promote and enrich the Broadway Series in their hometowns. There were 117 finalists in the United States for this prestigious award.

Michael A. Jenkins of Starlight Entertainment and a Broadway League member nominated April for the award because of her long-time volunteer service in helping the local theater community.  She invested her time and talent toward numerous fundraising galas and other events benefiting the theater community here in Dallas, such as Dallas Summer Musicals and Water Tower Theatre.
