April Bosworth of Dallas has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Broadway League and was presented a Star of Touring Broadway Award. Michael A. Jenkins of Starlight Entertainment and a Broadway League member nominated April for the award because of her long-time volunteer service in helping the local theater community.  She invested her time and talent toward numerous fundraising galas and other events benefiting the theater community here in Dallas, such as Dallas Summer Musicals and Water Tower Theatre.
