The Mary Kay FoundationSM is committed to preventing and ending domestic violence. A key component of ending the cycle of abuse is helping a survivor along their recovery secure employment and financial independence.

A partnership between Mary Kay Inc. and The Mary Kay FoundationSMSuits for Shelters supports domestic violence survivors by collecting professional attire to help boost confidence and aid in job interviews as they start their new lives free from abuse. Since 2009, the program has collected more than 22,000 pieces of professional attire for women in need.

This year, the organization hopes to collect thousands of professional clothing items to benefit 11 Dallas-Fort Worth area organizations such as The Family Place, Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support, Hope’s Door New Beginning Center and others who are committed to helping women live a life free from abuse.
