She then introduced Ed Beardsley, Vice President of Heritage Auctions. He explained how it’s free and open to the public to attend the auctions. He introduced Chambers onto the stage for her presentation. She shared her interest in antiques dates back to when she was young, and by 17 she was purchasing antiques to decorate her own space. Forty years later she is still designing rooms with antiques. Her most recent job was the KAPPA ALPHA THETA House at Southern Methodist University. She presented other projects including the University Park French House, Spanish Colonial home in Kessler Park, and the Texas Farm House to name a few. Her main focus was to show how to incorporate antiques into a modern home without it looking clustered, but also showcased trends in interior design. She followed the presentation with a Question & answer segment.
