Pizza Leila Teams up with Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman for Limited-Time Mexican Pizza Offering

Available for One Month Only, Portion of Proceeds to Benefit American Parkinson’s Disease Association

Dallas’ pizza boom just got a lot more interesting! Chef Ji Kang of Pizza Leila, a Sicilian pizza concept by Sloane’s Corner, will team up with Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman of José for a one-month only run of special Queso Fundido Pizza with Chorizo and Champiñones October 5 through 31.

Available only at Pizza Leila, the drool-worthy pizza is a twist on a José classic featuring a creamy garlic sauce, shredded Oaxaca cheese, chorizo, poblano raja and mixed mushrooms. The pie will be available by the square for $5 or the whole pizza for $30.

“We are thrilled to team up with the talented Chef Anastacia of José to create a fun, new pizza that no one has ever tasted before,” said Chef Ji Kang of Pizza Leila. “We are so honored to have such a talented chef join us in our kitchen for such a special cause. The pizza is the perfect blend of Mexican and Italian cuisine and is nothing short of amazing.”

Pizza Leila will donate 10% of all sales of the limited-time pizza to the APDA (American Parkinson’s Disease Association), a nonprofit organization close to Chef Anastacia’s heart.

“My mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 15 years ago, and I am so fortunate to have her in my life thanks to the amazing medicine and studies conducted by the APDA,” explained Chef Anastacia of José. “I recently tried Pizza Leila and was so impressed! I raved about the pizza for a few days after, and knew I had to collaborate with Chef Ji to bring Dallas eaters a unique Mexican-style pizza for a great cause.”

The Queso Fundido Pizza with Chorizo and Champiñones will be available only from October 5 through October 31 at Pizza Leila. Pizza Leila is located at 2001 Ross Ave Ste 125 Dallas, Texas 75201 inside Sloane’s Corner. Available for curbside pick-up to-go via Toast and delivery via Uber Eats or DoorDash.

Pizza Leila plans to continue to offer specialty pizzas with local chefs benefitting the guest chefs choice of non-profit.
