The Frontiers of Flight Museum (FOFM) proudly announces the honorary chairs of its inaugural Phantom Flight Luxury Raffle are Regina Bruce and Dr. Carla Russo. They are the founders of the Lone Star Monarchs, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Regina and Carla, individually  and together with the Lone Star Monarchs, have collectively raised millions of dollars for educational and other philanthropic  causes in Dallas and across the great State of Texas.

Regina said, “Carla and I are humbled and honored to serve as honorary chairs of this inaugural event. We are excited to contribute to FOFM’s new era and help the museum raise additional funds that will provide educational opportunities to children from around the city, especially those in the Southern Districts who are attending Title One Schools, because we know many of these low income and underserved families don’t have the financial resources to access valuable field trip excursions and museum experiences. We hope that friends, family, and the broader community will join with us to help FOFM reach its fundraising goal to help as many children as possible have brighter futures.”

The package includes six exceptional  experiences and jewelry donated by very generous businesses in our local area. Included is a beautiful ladies Tudor, 1926 Style watch with a diamond in steel and 18K rose gold band valued at $3,975, graciously provided by de Boulle Jewelers; two roundtrip tickets on JSX, valued at $3,000; three flight lessons from PlaneSmart! Aviation, valued at $1,500; a 5-star hosted dinner for six with Celebrity Chef, Peja Krstic, at his restaurant, Mot Hai Ba, valued at $1,000; a whiskey package from Still Austin Whiskey Co., valued at $500, and an annual family membership to the museum.

The Phantom Flight Luxury Raffle package is valued at almost $10,000 and is a one-time drawing for all the fabulous goodies!  For more information, including the purchase of raffle tickets, which are on sale now. Visit the museum’s new website at www.flightmuseum.com/phantom/

“No heels or tuxes will be required to raise funds for the museum this Spring. The FOFM is delighted to partner with Carla and Regina to help us share information  about the raffle, museum, and provide access to joyous new opportunities for deserving families.  As all the raffle items were 100% donated, this fundraising initiative will substantially save on the cost of hosting a live event, and the proceeds will fund exciting and meaningful educational programs for kids from Title One Schools,” said Abigail Erickson Torres, President & CEO.

She further stated, “Our goal is to raise $70,000 to build capacity for 2024, to support hiring more educators, as the museum impacts more than 58,000 students this coming year through new focused partnerships. We are so grateful to our adventurous Honorary Chairs and our gracious donors to this wonderful raffle to help make this goal a reality.”

In addition to tickets being available for purchase on our website, they will also be available for purchase during the Solar Eclipse event being held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the museum. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100 and can be purchased until noon on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The luxury raffle drawing will take place at the FOFM on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at noon. The winner will be notified by phone or email, and his/her first name will be announced via social media and other public platforms.
