Dozens of shoppers kicked off the holidays at the second annual Holiday Shop & Stroll on Lovers Lane held on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The festive event, hosted by local shops Kat + Noelle, Nikki Smith Designs, PaperAffair, Scarlet Reagan, and TASC, benefited the Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) annual Toy Drive, which will grant wishes for thousands of Dallas County’s abused and neglected children.

Participants donated new, unwrapped toys for children in need, including items from CPD’s most-needed wish list, such as dolls, action figures, arts and crafts supplies, educational toys, sports gear, tech gadgets, games, and popular character-based toys. Another local business, The Toy Maven, partnered with the other retailers and discounted toy purchases donated to the drive.

As a thank you for their generosity, shoppers who donated toys received 20% off their purchases at Kat + Noelle, Nikki Smith Designs, PaperAffair, Scarlet Reagan, and TASC. After donating, shoppers also received a coupon to redeem a free coffee drink at the Herbster Coffee truck parked on-site at the Pavilion on Lovers Lane.
