The weather was perfect as the rain held off for the annual Park Cities Car Show presented by Preservation Park Cities and sponsored by URBAN/Allie Beth Allman & Associates A Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate.
Celebrating its 10th year, car show founders Polly and Dan McKeithen were joined by Callie Windle as co-chairs of the event, which featured a record 300 entries and more community partners and sponsors than ever before.

The parking spaces at Burleson Park by Southern Methodist University were filled with vehicles ranging from stellar classics and hot rods to a rusty and apparently very well used Volkswagen van, to the shiny and very well-maintained Porches, Jaguars, Camaros, Ferraris, and so many more. Many of these garage queens join every year, making a rare appearance just for this show.
As the DJ kept the energy buzzing, the crowd roamed the car show enjoying goodies from food trucks, coffee trucks and BBQ, while children played in the inflatable playhouses, and community sponsors such as the City of University Park, University Park Library, Operation Kindness with an adoption tent, the Moody YMCA with children’s activities and Texas A&M Forest Service passed out information and freebies.
Sponsors included Texas Autohaus, Earth MotorCars, Sewell, S Collective, Hilltop Securities, HCC Specialty Cars, Frost, Preservan, The Shop, Texas Collector Car Storage and Club and Galaxy Golf Cars.
In addition to the 20 awards given in different classes, these special awards were given with the prizes being truly one-of-a-kind trophies created by Dan and Jason Morski, Preservation Park Cities president, using car parts they welded together. It was overheard that those were the best trophies ever!
