Eataly Dallas Kicks Off Year-Long Icons of Eataly Series
The Italian marketplace will showcase Tagliatelle alla Bolognese in April
Every month at La Pizza & La Pasta, Eataly Dallas is going iconic – bringing one of Italy’s most famous dishes to center stage with an unmissable dining experience.
This April, it’s all about Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, the signature dish of Bologna, the food-capital of Emilia-Romagna. This Icon of Eataly is made with 40-yolk Tagliatelle (that’s kneaded, rolled, shaped, and cut by hand every single day) with Italian durum flour for an extra rich pasta. Their chefs combine the pasta with authentic ragu alla Bolognese that’s slow-cooked for 12+ hours and freshly grated 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano DOP.
Icons of Eataly is a year-long series showcasing the most iconic Italian dishes, made the authentic way, and always served tableside.
Eataly Dallas will kick off each month’s focus with a restaurant takeover event highlighting the ingredients that make each icon (changes every month) – hands-on pasta making, live music, tableside experiences, and a custom dessert offering. The first event will be hosted on April 6th.
On April 6 from 5-10 PM, book your spot to experience hands-on pasta making to enjoy as you wait for your dinner, complimentary wine as soon as you walk into the restaurant, live music, tableside service, and more.
Each Icon of Eataly will be available in La Pizza & La Pasta for one month, served tableside with suggested wine pairings, and the chance to learn what makes each an icon. To book your table and learn more visit, https://www.eataly.com/us_en/stores/dallas/eataly-icons-dallas/.
Coming up on May 4, Eataly will be showcasing Gnocchi al Pesto Genovese. While pillowy potato gnocchi help make this dish irresistible, the hero of Eataly’s May Icon of Eataly is house made Pesto Genovese.
Starting on June 8, Eataly will be showcasing Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe. Summertime in Texas means escaping the heat and savoring the slower months. That’s why Eataly chose Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe as their June Icon of Eataly. This simple Roman dish means “cheese and pepper” – alluding to the few, high-quality ingredients that make up this ultimate Italian comfort food.
Guests at La Pizza & La Pasta will also have the chance to shop the ingredients to make each Icon at home in the retail marketplace.
