Thursday, June 19, 2025: Juneteenth: A Dialogue on Change and Community benefiting the Dallas Historical Society. 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.: Panel discussion. Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking panel featuring civil rights icon Rev. Peter Johnson, renowned historian and scholar Dr. W. Marvin Dulaney, and trailblazing Dallas leader Levi Davis, the city’s first African American Assistant City Manager. Through personal stories, historical insight, and reflections on progress, these distinguished voices will explore the meaning of Juneteenth, the long road to freedom, and the work that remains to build a more just and inclusive future.  This event is a partnership between the Dallas Historical Society and The African American Museum.  Karl Chiao is the executive director, Dallas Historical Society. The event takes place at the Hall of State in Fair Park. Free with advance registration.

 September 26, 2025:  KidneyTexas, Inc. Runway Report The French Connection 2025 Luncheon and Fashion Show. Presenting Sponsors:  Anne and William Seanor. Honorary Chairs are Donna and Herb Weitzman. Chaired by Allison Brodnax. Mari Epperson is president, KidneyTexas, Inc. The morning begins with a champagne reception followed by a program and runway fashion show produced by Robyn Chauvin featuring fashions from NorthPark Center, which is always a fabulous event including fun surprises. There will be an auction, raffle and award presentations. It is all topped off with a delicious luncheon.
