September 24, 2024: KidneyTexas, Inc. The Runway Report 2024 Luncheon and Fashion Show 25th Year Anniversary Silver Jubilee. Lauryn Gayle White is Honorary Chair. Claire Catrino and Kaleta Blaffer Johnson are Chairs. Monica Cooley is President, KidneyTexas, Inc.

The morning begins with a champagne reception followed by a program and runway fashion show produced by Jan Strimple Productions featuring fashions from TOOTSIES, Nardos, Betty Reiter and St. John, which is always a fabulous event including fun surprises. There will be an auction, raffle and award presentations. It is all topped off with a delicious luncheon.

October 3, 2024: LEAP Global Missions 2024 Gala Journey of Hope. Denise and Ray Nixon and Meredith and Scottie Scheffler, Honorary Chairs. Linsey and Ryan Nixon, Leigh and Russ Johnson, Adair and Clark Webb, Chairs. Dr. Craig Hobar, Founder and Medical Director.

The evening begins with a reception featuring cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a three-course seated dinner, presentation, sharing news of past and ongoing missions and updates on future plans.

If you like cars (or just like getting outside), the Park Cities Car Show is the event for you! We are always impressed with the entries each year and this party just continues to grow. November 9, 2024: Folds of Honor Gala on the field at AT&T Stadium. Dyan and Mike Colby, Honorary Chairs. Mike Beltz, North Texas Board Chair. The annual gala brings together military and first responder families, veterans, scholarship recipients, and members of the North Texas community. The money raised will be used to provide educational scholarships to our nation’s most deserving families, the ones that sacrifice to protect our freedoms. November 13, 2024: 18^th Annual A Writer’s Garden 2024 Star Style Glamour for the Home & Garden – Celebrating the 27^th Anniversary of A Woman’s Garden and the 42^nd Anniversary of the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

The morning begins as guests enjoy light refreshments, book sales and book signings by the featured speakers Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Stefani Bittner, followed by their presentations and a luscious luncheon.

The event is presented by the Weber Foundation and celebrates the 27th Anniversary of A Woman’s Garden and the 42nd Anniversary of the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Joni Krieg is chair. Garry Weber is honorary chair. Therese Rourk is president of the Women’s Council.
