Celebrating its 38th year, this fabulous party has been an ongoing fundraising event sponsored by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Monies raised assist with the development, growth and maintenance of A Woman’s Garden, a major garden at the Dallas Arboretum, and the only public garden in the nation conceived, constructed and maintained by the funding efforts of women.
Guests travel from all over the United States, planning their trips to Dallas not only to take part in the Mad Hatter’s Luncheon, taking the theme as inspiration for their sophisticated, glamorous, and delightfully lavish hats, but to view the glorious springtime azalea displays and flowers that grace the Dallas Arboretum.
April 25, 2026: Equest 45th Annual Blue Ribbon Gala: Run for the Roses Melinda and Mark Knowles, Gala Chairs. Lynn McBee, Honorary Chair. Inspired by the spirit of the Run for the Roses, this milestone celebration honors 45 years of life-changing breakthroughs made possible through equine-assisted therapies. Enjoy a cocktail reception, seated gourmet dinner, exciting live and silent auctions, and dancing to the acclaimed Jordan Kahn’s Manhattan Orchestra. Be part of this extraordinary celebration of humans, horses, and hope!
April 29, 2026: Fashion Notes Luncheon and Fashion Show LimonCELLO benefiting the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League and featuring fashions from Fashion Design Award honoree Mackenzie Brittingham. Chairs are Meredith Connally, Amy Green and Elizabeth St. Marie. Anne and Bill Seanor, Honorary Chairs. Claire Catrino is President, DSOL, celebrating its 80th Anniversary. Funds raised by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League support transformative DSO programs.
May 22 to June 7, 2026: Parade of Playhouses, the signature community event hosted by Dallas CASA, returns to NorthPark Center. The Parade of Playhouses features custom children’s playhouses designed, built and donated by local architects, builders and organizations. The playhouses are displayed for 17 days and are available to win by raffle. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20, sold during the event at NorthPark Center and DallasCASA.org. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales support children living in foster care.
