November 10, 2026: A Writer’s Garden celebrating its 20^th anniversary and benefiting the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and the development and maintenance of A Woman’s Garden, the centerpiece garden of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Two of the speakers are the team of Edmund Hollander and Melissa Reavis, partners of Hollander Design, Landscape Architects, New York, NY and Chicago, IL. Also speaking will be Ngoc Minh Ngo, New York, NY. Ngoc Minh Ngo is an author, photographer, and speaker widely regarded as one of the world’s most poetic landscape and botanical photographers. November 19, 2026: 45^th Annual Dallas History Makers Awards for Excellence Luncheon benefiting the Dallas Historical Society at the Fairmont Hotel. Guests mix and mingle prior to a three-course luncheon, inspiring videos honoring the award recipients sharing their often untold stories and highlighting their contributions to Dallas, and awards presentations. The event is topped off with the traditional A.C. Greene Champagne Toast. Karl Chiao, Executive Director, Dallas Historical Society.
